Point Loma is a beautiful place with lots to see just minutes from downtown San Diego. We enjoyed the commanding view of the Naval station and watching the fighter jets and transport planes taking off and landing. We enjoyed seeing the tidepools and the beautiful wildlife there. At the furthest tip of Point Loma, you’ll find Cabrillo National Monument, a tribute to explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo who led the brave expedition in 1542.
